Side-hung or tilt-and-turn?
An inward-opening side-hung window provides wide access for ventilation and cleaning. A tilt-and-turn window combines this opening action with a tilted ventilation position. The choice depends on the available clearance, intended use and hardware limitations.

Sliding windows: ventilation without an inward swing
In a kitchen or a room with limited clearance, a sliding window moves its panels sideways rather than opening inwards. It does not provide the same clear opening as a side-hung window. We compare access for cleaning, ventilation, panel numbers and dimensions before choosing the system.

Concealed sash, colour and glazing
Viewed from outside, a concealed sash hides the opening frame behind the outer frame. An exposed sash gives the frames a more pronounced appearance. RAL colour, different internal and external colours, glass finish, and thermal or acoustic requirements are all considered during the assessment.

Planning installation and your quote
For renovations, we examine the condition of the existing outer frame and the available space. For new builds, the outer frame and frame extensions are coordinated with insulation and finishes. The dimensions of the masonry opening alone do not determine the manufacturing dimensions.

Can an existing window be replaced with an aluminium window?
Yes, following an assessment of the existing installation. The choice between retaining the outer frame and full frame removal depends, in particular, on its condition, the available clear opening and its connection to the building.
Can an aluminium window have concealed hinges?
This option is assessed with compatible hardware. In our range, concealed hinges are paired with the TRENDi handle. Dimensions and weight are checked before approval.
Which glazing should I choose for a bedroom?
Sun exposure, external noise, privacy and the performance required guide the glazing specification. We assess these factors alongside the window dimensions and permissible weight.
How much does a bespoke aluminium window cost, including installation in the Alpes-Maritimes (06)?
The price depends on the dimensions, number of sashes, glazing, colour and installation work. A renovation may also require removal and making good. Tell us your town, the number of windows and their approximate dimensions so that we can prepare a quote identifying the products and work included.
Do you also manufacture standard-sized windows?
