Is triple glazing always the best choice?
Its suitability is assessed against the project’s requirements, exposure, desired daylight and weight. The choice must remain compatible with the window or door system and the façade as a whole.
Does solar-control glazing replace external shading?
Summer comfort must be considered across the whole project. Orientation, glazed area, glass specification, solar shading and ventilation should be assessed together.
Can I choose frosted glazing for a bathroom?
Acid-etched or textured glass can be considered for privacy. The glass specification must still be determined according to the dimensions, intended use and window or door system.
