Compare opening types before finalising the plan
The first file studies side-hung, conventional sliding and pocket sliding alternatives. This comparison assesses passage and space requirements against the way the room is used.
Request a quote Two Mougins files document the selection of opening types and preparation of the façade schedule: side-hung and sliding alternatives, followed by a set of sliding doors and fixed glazing in RAL 7035 grey.
Prepared in 2025, before UPORIZONS was established, these studies illustrate the founder’s technical experience. Their presentation concerns the configurations studied and preparation of the work. The Mougins villa has a separate entry in the project gallery.
Compare opening actions, then coordinate sliding doors, pocket sliding systems and fixed glazing using two separate technical studies.
The first file studies side-hung, conventional sliding and pocket sliding alternatives. This comparison assesses passage and space requirements against the way the room is used.
The 2 990 × 2 230 mm and 1 440 × 2 190 mm compositions require preparation of the lateral areas. For a new project, available space is checked with the walls and wall linings.
The second file combines a large 5 750 × 2 200 mm composition and smaller openings. Dimensions, glazing and hardware follow each configuration, even when the finish is shared.
Dimensions in millimetres, width × height. Characteristics specific to the project file presented.
The March study compares side-hung and sliding versions. The sliding alternative details several dimensions and two pocket sliding configurations. Its purpose is to plan clear passage and space requirements around building constraints before selecting a solution.
The April study combines sliding doors and fixed glazing in a satin RAL 7035 finish. A 5 750 × 2 200 mm sliding composition appears alongside smaller openings. Every item requires its own cutting lengths, glazing and hardware.
A set of windows and doors cannot be reduced to an average width. Item references distinguish dimensions, opening actions, fixed sections and locks. For a new Mougins site, these parameters are reviewed against current surveys, the supporting structure and installation conditions.
For a new Mougins project, our Valbonne workshop prepares profiles according to the plans and selected opening actions: FOM double-head saw cutting, joint preparation, then frame checks. The 2025 studies illustrate the technical choices and predate the establishment of UPORIZONS.
